'Loftily Poised in the Ether Capacious' - a stunning and dramatic quilt designed and pieced by Rosalind Hunt of Lexington SC, and quilted by me.  This gorgeous quilt has just returned from the AQS show in Paducah, Kentucky, where it was a semi-finalist.  What a huge honor!

Other honors bestowed upon "Lofty" (as the quilt is fondly called), are a second place ribbon in Jacksonville in 2011, a first place ribbon and 'Best Longarm Quilting" in Sanford NC in 2011, and a first place ribbon and Viewer's Choice in Charleston in 2012.  Lofty is due to leave home again in June 2012 and head out to Columbus, Ohio.

'Simply Oriental' - a quilt designed, pieced and quilted by me.  The picture doesn't do it justice, but it took a third place ribbon in Sanford NC in 2011.  The pattern was 'Karma Simplicity", one of a series of patterns that I am currently developing.

'Oodles of Simplicity Two' - again designed, pieced and quilted by me.  I was delighted to take a second place ribbon in Sanford NC.  The pattern was 'Karma Simplicity Two', part of the Simplicity series, which is a set of six designs based on an on-point quilt setting and developing a number of quilting techniques.

I am also thrilled to have a small quilt travelling with the 'Hoffman Challenge' collection.  The quilt is in Trunk D and has been all over the USA since July 2011, and should finally arrive home in October 2012.  The design of this quilt led to the beginning of the 'Karma Sensation' series, which is still being developed.
